Broadcasts

A broadcast sends one message to every subscribed contact in an audience — newsletters, product updates, announcements.

Compose

Dashboard → Broadcasts → New. Pick an audience, then write the from address, subject, and body. Personalize with {{email}}, {{first_name}}, and {{last_name}}. Broadcasts stay in draft — editable — until you send.

Send

Sending requires a verified from-domain, a subject, a body, and at least one subscribed contact. Each recipient gets an individual email (visible on the Emails page, attributed to the broadcast) with an unsubscribe footer appended automatically. Contacts who are unsubscribed or on your suppression list are skipped.

StatusMeaning
draftEditable; not yet sent.
scheduledQueued for a future time — reschedule or unschedule any time before it fires.
sendingIn progress — the sent counter ticks up live.
sentEvery recipient processed.
failedSomething went wrong mid-send. Fix the cause and send again — it resumes safely.

Schedule instead of sending now: pick a date and time and the broadcast goes out automatically. Validation and the quota check happen when you schedule, so a bad broadcast fails fast rather than at 9am on launch day.

Broadcast recipients count against your monthly quota at send time — a 5,000-contact broadcast needs 5,000 available sends, checked up front.
